Happy Friday!!!
Hope you’ve been having a most excellent week :-)
Things have been going pretty well for me.
Most notably, my sleep seems to be pretty much dialed in, with my renewed focus on my pre-bed routine.
Even on evenings when I do get to bed a bit later than usual, I still feel well-rested and refreshed.
Really, most of it has been just not keeping my phone near me, putting a bit of friction between myself and mindlessly scrolling as I eat dinner and wind down.
It’s also helped me focus on (and enjoy) whatever I’m watching on YouTube or F1TV, which are my usual watches during dinner.
Training and diet are going well, with no major changes to either in quite some time.
Actually, I’m probably reaching the point where I’ve kept both unchanged for the longest in a while.
I typically switch things up with one of the two every few months, but I’ve been doing what I’ve doing with both for longer than that by now.
Work was relaxed again this week, although with a few more in-person meetings than normal.
I really don’t mind that at all, as I appreciate the opportunity to be around people and interact outside of emails and conference calls.
This weekend, my dad will be visiting from Blacksburg, VA.
We’ll probably grab lunch somewhere then hit up a few breweries or bars around Raleigh.
He also wants to see my sim racing setup, so we’ll swing by my apt. at some point on Saturday or Sunday to play around with that a bit.
Regardless, his visits are always so enjoyable.
Whatever you get into this weekend, I hope it fills your cup.
I appreciate you.

You're putting in the work and that alone is worth celebrating.
Be grateful for who you are becoming.
